Key EP Lab Benefits:

  • Rapidly Train New Staff on System--Including Those Outside EP Domain
  • With the intuitive user interface and the "WYSIWIG" style Preview Window new users quickly learn the system, while experienced users can verify that the correct waveform is being applied at a glance.
  • Quick Transition for Experienced Analog Stimulator User
  • Not only can the Z6 Cardiac Stimulator provide the same controls that users familiar with the older switches, knobs, and dials are accustomed to, but all of the features from the Advanced Mode can be utilized while in Analog Emulation mode.
  • Windows XP Look and Feel
  • The comfort of a familiar and proven operating system along with the ability to store, recall, and modify protocols and procedures beyond that of any cardiac stimulator on the market today.
  • Remote Diagnostics
  • Our Service Engineers can remotely diagnose the Z6 Cardiac Stimulator over the internet or via a built in modem.

Advanced Mode User Interface

The Preview Window is located in the top half of the screen, with the main controls located just below that. Along the bottom is the location of the programmable protocol buttons. These buttons can be programmed with any protocol by the user, and saved as a group in a procedure file. A user may have as many protocols and procedures as desired. Additionally, there is not any restrictions on the number of users.

Preview Window

The Preview Window helps new users to quickly learn and set up stimulation protocols with minimal training. For experienced users, a quick glance provides confidence that the desired protocol is ready for application. Below is a portion of the Preview Window. In this case the output channel is named "V" and Stimulus S1 along with Extra Stimuli S2, S3, S4 will be applied to that output channel.

Trigger Levels

The trigger levels that control synchronous start of stimulation and sensed ECG beats can be adjusted graphically from the Levels Window. Here the ECG signal that is provided by the ECG Recording system is displayed in realtime to allow the user to establish the trigger level.
